Summer Night<\/em> is a story about a badass biker who undergoes a metamorphosis, as he struggles for redemption.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Kid\u201d introduces the main character, a drug-addled biker and loner. \u201cHis Harley\u2019s his old lady. He has no other queen, \u2018cuz not too many ladies want a dude burned out on green. He rides all by himself. Other bikers put him down. They always disappear, when the Kid rides into town.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He hooks up with \u201cThe Queen of Darkness.\u201d He sings, \u201cI\u2019ll scare up some white lady, and chill a jug of wine. Don\u2019t waste the time to call the Queen. Tonight the Queen is mine!\u201d Or is it the other way around? We will see.<\/p>\n<p>He becomes a \u201cBlack Book Man,\u201d and gets run out of town. \u201cBlack book man, you\u2019ve been so lucky. How long do you think it will last? Ride your lucky streak out of town, before you\u2019re a thing of the past.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In \u201cPrisoner of the Highway,\u201d he goes back on the road, and starts to show some introspection. \u201cYou\u2019re fleeing from uncertainty, longing for that master plan. To almost any passerby, you\u2019re just a hunted man. I see where you\u2019re coming from, friend I can see your rhyme. You\u2019re another lonely wanderer, seeking what you cannot find.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He wanders into the nation\u2019s capital in \u201cD. C. Summer Night,\u201d where he witnesses street violence. \u201cThe heavies grab their bricks, preparing for a fight. To me, this is just another D. C. summer night.\u201d Everything changes after tonight. . .<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPlaying with Fire Dying to Burn,\u201d features the Queen of Darkness proclaiming her power over Kid. \u201cHe made a deal with me, the Queen. Now I pull his strings, if you know what I mean.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Guilt is starting to get the best of him in \u201cThe Boys with the Special Eyes.\u201d He sings, \u201cI tried to make a run for it. I could only run in place. They all had an impish grin etched upon their face. They said, \u2018we\u2019ll be right behind you, until the day you die. We\u2019ll be with you till forever. We\u2019re the boys with the special eyes.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He meets a very conflicted young lady in \u201cDancing Girl.\u201d He sings, \u201cShe said she\u2019s known a lot of lovers, but it was all just part of a scheme. Searching for that perfect lover, a love that only comes in dreams.\u201d Continuing, he shows his vulnerability: \u201cDancing girl, you look so lonely. Let me hold you for a while. Let me show you what you\u2019re missing. Dancing girl, oh lonely child.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kid discovers that She is his savior in \u201cChild of Rock and Roll.\u201d He sings, \u201cThen the Child went to sleep, all life gone from Her eyes. Before the world could say \u2018farewell,\u2019 the Child began to rise!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In \u201cKidnapped,\u201d Kid and the Child are approached by ruffians. \u201cA struggle then ensued. I was beaten to the ground.
